Hi! My name is Cayman Hasseberg. I am a Human Relations major with a minor in business management. I am a summer intern at Moss Consulting, and I am so beyond excited for this internship. My interests are in the Risk Management side of this profession. I have already been learning so much just from the two weeks we have been here, and can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer looks like!

About Evie Fisher

I'm Evie, a Strategic Communications major at Texas Christian University, and I'm so excited to be running this page this summer. When I came into college, I knew I wanted a career that let me use my creative side; I just didn't know what that would actually look like yet. Through my major, I've gotten to explore so many interesting areas, like building campaigns, research projects, graphic design, website building, PR, and advertising, and honestly, I still haven't landed on exactly where I want to be career-wise. But Strategic Communications has turned out to be such a great fit: it's let me think strategically while also creating, designing, researching, and figuring out how to craft the right message for the right audience.

Moss Consulting is truly such a special place, and I look forward to everything I get to experience with this incredible team. In just a couple of weeks, this internship has already been so hands-on and learning-driven. I feel like I come out of each day more knowledgeable than the day before, which is exactly what I could ever want out of an internship. The team is so helpful and has enriched my learning experience so much. I feel that it's so important to learn in an environment you feel comfortable in, and the team at Moss Consulting really makes me feel at home. Getting to work with a marketing focus specifically has expanded my love for marketing and all the hard work that goes into it, and given me real insight and clarity into the corporate world.

The Moss Summit: An Intern's POV

This week was the first annual Moss Summit, and I am so grateful I got to be a part of it. There was so much hard work and planning that went into it, and watching it all come together was both rewarding and heartwarming. In my opinion, it went perfectly. Everything was planned down to the minute, and we made the most of every single moment across two days. We had guest speakers and sponsors who were genuinely interesting and enlightening, got to learn more about the inner workings of Moss, and most importantly, got to finally know the team.

I was honestly shocked that this was everyone's first time meeting in person. You would never have known. Every single person clicked instantly, and seeing how much each team member brings to the table made me even more proud to call this my work environment.

Behind the scenes, I was busy. Between the media day shoot, capturing marketing content, and making sure everything stayed on schedule, it was a full two days. Seeing it all run as smoothly as it did made every bit of the planning worth it.

The highlight of the whole summit for me was Thursday night. We took a party bus to Cooper's Barbecue for a mafia-themed murder mystery dinner. IMA not only spoke at the start of the evening but stayed and joined us for the whole thing. Everyone committed to the bit completely, and it made for one of the most fun nights I've had in a long time. It was so fun seeing another side of everyone on the team. Turns out, they all really know how to have a good time.

The award ceremony was another moment that stuck with me. Nicole went through every single team member and gave each person an award tailored specifically to them. It not only made everyone feel genuinely appreciated, but it was a quiet reminder that even in a fully remote company, Nicole has built a real relationship with every person on her team and has a story about each one of them.

On Friday, Nicole gave the most heartwarming presentation. You could feel how much she loves what she does, and it was impossible not to feel inspired by it.

The Moss Summit was everything I hoped it would be and more. Here is to many more.
